Coming to Cubic Castles

Coming soon to Cubic Castles!

We know it’s no fun to wait for updates, so we’d like to give you some sneak peeks into what we have completed so far.

The biggest addition will be PVP combat with wands. This will allow the creation of all sorts of new games and add a new layer of difficultly to existing parkours. Wands will only affect players in realms where the owner chooses to allow PVP, and there will be three types to start: Knockback, Harm and Shrink

The newest realm environment skin, darkness, will be much more dramatic than the current skins: foggy, red murk, bottomless and the default cloudy. Only the areas with light sources (lava, candles, torches) will be lit in darkened realms. This will be perfect for puzzles and role playing realms.

To give players a chance to not just hear about but try new features, a server choice will be given in the upcoming settings. You will be able to join the less stable but potentially more exciting Test server and be one of the first to experiment with the newest development.

We are under attack!

Chiaki Nanami!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Heya there! I really wanted to show you all a little gameplay preview of the first boss fight i'm currently working on i hope you like it ^^

What you all think

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
