I am Ready.
So, since the last post, I've mentioned that there was quite a bit of issues and since then, there was even more issues. But good news, all issues have been solved! I'm now at a steady pace working on the final things I need!
Removed:
Complex God Rays
Reason: Too Laggy, too bright, didn't work well in fast paced battles.
Replacement: Went back to the simple God Rays but made them simpler and not so fancy, a simple bright line at different intervals.
How does it help? I can now run this MAX Graphics with no issues or lag 60fps on my Toaster. (4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics, I "think" an i3 processor).
BONUS: Works in battles!
Fixed:
Parallax Clouds
What Happened: Player was unable to save when clouds were enabled and visible on the map.
How was it fixed? New Parallax Plugin. GALV's Layer Graphics Plugin.
Any Benifits? Yes! It is now possible for me to add subtle dust effects in Battles!
Quest System
All icons are now proper. Example: Now you don't see a dead plant instead of a completion icon.
What's Left:
Some Balancing of Weapons/Armor/Items.
ONE Dungeon.
Few Quests.
That's all that is left! There is not too much left and as far as I know, there are zero issues. If it continues to be this well, the confirmed release date for Alpha 0.1.0 will be 10/1/2019!
I need to give myself plenty of time to throughly check the game and create the Dungeon as well as I can for proper expirence.
Note: Story will be in Alpha 0.2.0!
