Okay, so all collisions in GodSpace Galactic 2 will cause damage when they first collide, and if they continue to collide, the more massive object will abosorb the smaller one. The damage itself is based on the force and angle of the collision (head on collisions do more damage than glancing blows), and is lessened the more dense an object is, as it’s easier to break a rock than it is solid iron, as iron is more dense and the bonds tighter. Also, this allows small, dense objects to do more damage to larger massed, yet less dense objects, like a dense bullet in a less dense body.
