Current and future features - Devlog post #1


The features currently in The Naughty List are:

  • Main menu

  • Level select

  • Player character (with movement, rolling, shooting etc.)

  • Cover mechanic (player only)

  • Enemies (with movement, health, shooting etc.)

  • HUD (life, stamina, avatar, mini map etc.)

  • Death Screen

  • Transitions

  • Effects (bullet casings, muzzle flash, blood, snow etc.)

  • Integration with Gamejolt (trophies, scoreboard)

Features that need to completed/added:

  • Smooth camera movement

  • Options menu

  • Scoreboard

  • More trophies

  • Enemy spawn system

  • Music

  • Sounds

  • Different maps

  • Windows Version

  • Mac Version?

  • HTML5 Version

The Naughty List will be available to play on a browser and will be available to download for Windows.
This game will hopefully release and be available to play/download in time for Christmas Day or Christmas Eve.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
