Current Progress

So far the game is going well. We have fitted Renegade 4.8 into the engine so our weapons will work. Right now we have the weapons and backgrounds, but so far no actual coding has been done. Fitting Renegade 4.8 into MMF2 was a real hassle. as for right now, we are prepared to give another demo for Renegade v4.8 which should be up this weekend. The demo is to show how the weapons of the game will operate. Keep in mind 4.8 is still in beta so there might be some bugs. speaking of bugs, after fitting 4.8 into MMF2 the game became very laggy while playtesting it. We think this is due to the heavy amount of unorganized code with Renegade 4.8 so we are trying to combine similar code to save space.

In other news we have an opportunity for those who wish to help in the development of our game. We currently have weapons and backgrounds, but we also need a crucial part of the game, enemies. if you want to you can supply us with sprites for certain enemies. The game is free so you will not be paid, but your name will be put in the credits.

Sprites we need:
A militia soldier (with any weapon from an AK to a shotgun)
an army soldier (with any weapon from an AR to a HMG)
a ‘brute’ heavy soldier (with a machine gun)
a cyborg (any weapon)
a chrome-bodied cyborg (machine gun)
a robot drone (like a UAV)
a helicopter or jet

For the sprites they will need: an idle animation, a death animation, a injury animation and a firing animation.

sounds are not required, but extra credit will be provided if done

current game progress:

Engine fitting

backdrops/levels

what needs to be done:

enemy and ally sprites
ingame gui
coding
cutscenes/ dialogue

expected release date for Beta testing: April
expected Game launch: July

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

A few screenshots of the places you'll cross in the Demo of Blu. You can play it today on #gamejolt !

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

The Authority decided to investigate the Basement and leads to recovering classified documents Fun fact: The building has 928 doors and not 1000 doors. #horror
