Cybergunner 2: Guns of Cyberia update!


It’s great to see people are enjoying the game, and for those of you that have, I have good news! I’ve addressed a couple of concerns and added a bit of polish here and there for the latest version, which is available to play right now!

0.6 Changes:

  • Removed acceleration on movement

  • Shrunk all hitboxes to better match their characters

  • Changed spawning so that waves increase based on level

  • Raised time for when Cybombers detonate

  • Cybombers now blow each other up causing huge chain reactions

  • Screen shake toned down

  • Camera now stops at edges of arena

  • All enemies spawn at the arena edges

  • Enemies now telegraph their spawn positions before spawn

  • Added spawn crystal to intro backdrop

  • Added “Skip?” text to intro

  • Added title sequence

  • Added title screen with options

  • Added fades between each scene

In the next version I plan to add a couple more levels of difficulty (likely to make the current one’s easier to accomodate for the new one’s) and add a bunch of sounds (feedback that I sorely miss). If I have time, maybe I’ll look into a new set of enemy types… and yes, GameJolt achievements and Scores are coming :D
