Hello everyone.

I am typing a news article that really shouldn’t be here.

I am sorry, but you all will have to wait a little longer.

I am sorry.

Really. I am.

Maybe I should elaborate. (BTW, the rest of this article is just a story, there is no more news.)

Well, last Friday, I had worked on john DOE for another two hours and finally finished an Alpha 2.25 build. I was so happy, that I decided it was time to give you a look at the game. But the laptop I was using was really bad, so I decided to upload it later.

Today is Saturday, and I had visited my good friend Collin to hang. While he used his amazing desktop that Alienware would be proud of, I used his laptop. Top quite as spiffy, but good enough to game. Then I found outhe recently had upgraded his laptop to Windows 8.1. I thought it was ok until I started to use it. It lagged SO BAD. Like 5 frames a second bad. Every time you clicked something, the window would pop up unresponsive.

I decided to top playing game, and work on john DOE a little more. Apparently, that didn’t work very well either. I had tried to make folders, but it would lag up then, too. So I just stopped trying.

Later, at about 8:00 PM, I got online to upload the game. I plugged in my flashdrive (I use that instead of a hard trive because it is very portable. I switch computers often for different tasks.) and saw the flashdrive had been set to read-only mode. I have NO idea how that happened. I looked up how to unlock my flashdrive, and wikianswer said the only way to do it was to format the drive.

I was like “all right, wutevah.”

I then copied all my files to my desktop.

My flashdrive holds about 23 gigs worth of games, so that took an hour. (It didn’t seem like long. I just watched Syndicate on youtube.)

Then, I tried to remove the read only status from the flashdrive.

That said it was going to take about… Not long. Just 45 minutes.

I almost died.

That was when I was starting to get pissed.

I looked online again, and saw that the registry can possibly be corrupted, and I would just have to change it.

I just decided to cool down and fix it later.

(I don’t have admin permission on this computer, so I would have to find a different one and I was really mad at this point.)

So that is why I am writing this. I just will have to upload it later.

Thanks for listening.

Thanks for understanding.

And thanks. (You know. Just in general.)

PS. The game will be up soon. I promise.

PPS. (just some final thought.) Wow, I just wrote a whole freakin story! I am so proud. Lol. Anyways, if i have typos of missing letters, (my “S” key is a bit bad) Please excuse them. I just don’t feel like checking over this right now. Anyways, see ya later.

Progress on a new version So yes, it is summer. The new version is coming along nicely. I’m rewriting everything from scratch, so it will be a bit of a pain, but it’s really nice to reorganize my code. My old code was a mess XP

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
