Two tragic men and main antagonists who assumed previous identities prior to being corrupted (Anakin Skywalker and Lord Blumiere) and had a love life with a woman (Padme and Timpani) which the group they belonged in (the Jedi and the Tribe of Darkness) frowned upon. Both were eventually corrupted and mad with power, now assuming the identity of Darth Vader and Count Bleck repsectively, which happens after they gain the power/join the dark counterpart of a major plotpoint in their story (The dark side of the Force and the Dark Prognosticus), to which they gain new deadly abilities. They encounter a group of rag-tag heroes set to stop them (Luke, Han Solo Chewbacca, C-3PO, Leia and R2-D2, and Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Tippi), with one (technically two in Vader's case) of these heroes being later revealed to be related to them in some way (Tippi and Luke/Leia, with Tippi being Timpani, his lover and Luke and Leia being his children) which they thought were gone or dead for a while. Because of these heroes in specific, they had a change of heart in the last second and helped them defeat the true baddie pulling the string who they were associated with (Palpatine and Dimentio, with a contrast in Vader working for Palpatine while Dimentio worked for Bleck), ultimately helping to save the world (or the multiverse in Bleck's case). Also, both are from incredibly famous franchises, and their stories have to do with prophecies and fate and that kinda stuff.
