Deadbuild is now in Gamejolt!

Deadbuild is a RTS Tower Defence game. Your objective is to defend your village against waves of zombies. They spawn at night so you have time to (macro) gather resources and build defences at day. And when the night comes you can micro your hero and try to keep your village protected from enemies.

You need Microsoft framework 4.0 and Xna framework 4.0 to be able to run XNA game.

Some history:

But where does all this started?
2011 I wanted to code A* algorithm, well it kind of worked.

First video of the game 24.8.2011

And I started to get ideas of RTS Towerdefence.
My biggest inspirations were Age of Empires, Warcraft III, Starcraft and some towerdefences like desktop defenders.

Well 2012 I had to go to army, while I was there I started to
rewrite the game, and made some tweaks to the A* algorithm.

First video of the “new engine” 1.7.2012

After that I worked on the game when I had time and added it to the indiedb
you can read from there more news. Then I realeased it 22.2.2013 in Desura.

I released deadbuild in indiedb 22.2.2013

But I’m still working on the game making new features and bugfixes and kind of stuff. Now I’m working on Random map survival.

I hope you have a good time!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Added an exit portal to the maze SRP project. It has a simple effect using scrolling UV's and particles.
