Hey everyone it's me again and I welcome you to a new devlog!
We did make some progress, but half of December was dead so we did not have any progress in the first half.
What are the topics for this month's devlog?
We mainly have coding progress as we are prioritizing on that. We also have a new theme (which you might know already) and some little plan changes with some ideas for the future.
Well, let's start!
1. Coding progress
EZXPP and I worked on the demo and made some progress. EZXPP worked on the main menu (especially the settings) and we have some new changes for it. You can now change your screen to different sizes, these being: 432x324, 640x480 (Default), 864x648, 1296x972.
Speaking of sizes, fullscreen is also available now by pressing F4 as usual.
You can also speed up the game itself. 20 is the lowest speed, 60 the default and 250 the maximum. But do not forget, 250 will increase the difficulty by a lot.
Meanwhile I worked on the menu engine in the game. A lot of fixing and adding still needs to be done, it isnt finished, but once it is done it will make our job easier to do those dialogues. We might change some sprites and sizes soon though.
I am also planning on starting with stats soon too since right now Frisk has no stats at all.
Our plans for coding for now:
EZXPP: Adding some settings, “X” button, and some smaller fixes
Semi: Fixing the text engine, finishing the text engine, starting with stats (?)
2. Music
As some of you might know, we made another SoundCloud post for the (hopefully) final version of Pistanthrovania. It has old and new elements in it with new motifs and a cooler ending part. This theme was also made by RavenJess just like Determined Overdrive II. Thanks for that Jess!
Speaking of Determined Overdrive II… We somehow reached 250 likes, which is quite impressive! That is our most popular post by now and who knows, maybe it will change in the future!
We might change some other themes or add some themes, but we are not really prioritizing on that at the moment. We are happy with the themes and how they are. Starting with the Ruins OST would be too early too since we did not start with the full game yet.

3. Spriting
We have almost all sprites we need, but then we realized that we need to have achievement frame sprites. So Lettuce made some frames and some pictures too. I don't think it will spoil anything so here you go!

4. Plan changes
We are making some smaller plan changes for Trusttale. So, I was thinking about using different engines for both the demo and the full game, but seeing what we have I don't think that will be necessary. We will use the same engine for both. It's a mix of both anyways so I don't think there is much wrong with it.
I also think it would be a smart choice to make RavenJess our main musician considering how much he helped us.
