Delaying release until Mid-2018


Hello, I am having to delay the release of Super Bear 3D until at some point in 2018. This is because of the success of my other game, The Bunny and The Apocalypse.

Because of that game’s success, I have been working on a mobile port of the game, which has taken up most of my game-dev time. I could just throw 4 maps together for Super Bear, but the last map felt rushed to me. I want to lovingly make Super Bear, and deliver a game that I am truly proud of - and that I feel can bring enjoyment to people around the world.

Since the last update, I have become better as a game developer and learnt from previous mistakes. If I released Super Bear with a mentality of chucking maps together and saying I have a full game, it wouldn’t be a good reflection of my skill. It wouldn’t be fair for people to pay for that.

As a result, I am going to finish “The Bunny and the Apocalypse” and release it before I release Super Bear - so that I can pour all of my effort into this game. As previously mentioned, I do not want to release a half-hearted game for which was put together in half an hour.

I have plans to make Super Bear one of the best games I have ever created. I want to add minigames and multiplayer “Collectible Dashes” but I know that having most of my work poured into a special Christmas project and “The Bunny and The Apocalypse Mobile”, I will not be able to do those to the best of my ability.

To achieve my goal of making Super Bear one of the best games I have ever made, I need the community’s help. If you have any ideas for maps that you would like to see, please put them in the Reedingame Discord server that I have set up (invite link at the bottom of this post).
