There's been a belief for awhile... People have been theorizing that knight is gonna be Carol because there ARE many things in the game leading to that conclusion. Even one of my friends believes in this theory.

I've recently watched both deltarune chapter 3 and 4. Tbh, Normal route DOES seem to be implying that alot. However, weird route is showing things that could disprove this theory...

In Deltarune chapter 4 weird route, you and Kris don't get to see Susie getting the guitar. Not only that, there isn't even the cutscene where Kris calls the "voice" to inform that Susie got the guitar. Yet in both routes, Carol comes back home earlier than she usually does....

This could mean that Carol didn't come back home earlier than usual because she's the knight and got the call from Kris. Instead, she came earlier by herself in both routes.

Even if we wished to support this theory of "Carol is knight" somehow, the only explanation could be that after the talk with Noelle in weird route, Kris saw Susie with the guitar and immediately called Carol, but the cutscene wasn't shown to us. And then afterwards Kris lost it in the bathroom because of what we did. Which honestly seems very unlikely to me atleast.

Also, in the ending of weird route, unlike normal route, it isn't the "voice" we hear from the phone.... Rather, it is Carol's actual voice we hear. Which is kinda strange...

And besides, there's literally NO way Toby Fox would make something so important this obvious. We thought Mike is gonna be very important just because of certain stuff in the game, yet here we are....
