DEV LOG 6/27/25


I really wish there was a better way i could visualize my progress to make these dev logs more interesting to look at...

Anyways, I'm still gonna yap about recent progress. I have reworked a ton of the AI pathfinding to be more optimized (fewer variables, fewer lines of code) as well as more balanced. I have also completely reworked how Bonnie and Chica kill you to more resemble FNAF 1 (while aggravating them enough will cause them to lunge out of the shadows and end your night, they prefer to wait until you are on the computer or have your back turned).

A large portion of me programming this game is: Programming a mechanic, thinking of how a player could circumvent the intended gameplay loop, and then programming a consequence to trying to cheese the game

In a couple weeks I will be able to start showing off more visuals, so keep an eye out for that... I'll probably make a few more text-only dev logs before then, though I don't think anyone reads these lol.

I'm really happy with how progress is coming along! When I'm not programming, I'm still drawing up diagrams of systems and writing explanations and noting ideas I have... I really think this game (if I execute it right) will be very fun and VERY scary.

Environment Work As Of Late

old vs new (my modeling/texturing skills have improved so much in just the last month that i'm remastering the character models just for fun, don't expect like a remaster of the game any time soon)
