Hi everyone! Well we knew it was a long shot but we had to try, right? Thank you SO much for joining us on this Wastenauts journey. Seeing people have fun playing this weird thing we made was so heartwarming - it's why all of us are involved in games, to hopefully provide people with a little bit of extra brightness. Whether we met you at a PAX years ago and you've been playing all of our alpha events since then, or you just found out about the game this week and came to check it out, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this ride!
What happens next? First, it's important to note that no one has been charged by Kickstarter. Kickstarter is an "all-or-nothing" platform, and because we didn't hit our targets, we don't receive any portion of the funding and your credit card has not been charge.
Development of Wastenauts is on indefinite hiatus. The Discord will still be open as well, a great place to meet former players of the game!
The alpha is no longer playable; to the extent you have old clients installed on your computer those will not longer connect to our servers.
Lastly, the Threadless store has been updated with the hoodie and tote bag from the Kickstarter. If you had your heart set on either of those items from the Kickstarter, you can buy them directly!
