Development Update #4 Base game nearly done


Hi everyone, just here to post an update on progress since I haven’t done in a little while thanks the to Custom Night for SL coming out.

I have almost finished off everyones a.i, almost done with Krug then I have one more animatronic to go. I’ve been refining a couple things as well.

A major thing I have been working on in the last couple days is sound and auditory cues since that’s one thing the original failed at. I’m sure some of you will be happy to know that Krug will have auditory cues this time around so you can learn different sounds and know who’s coming.

I think the biggest news is that I play tested Night 5 with Iggy 2.0, Stingy, Iggy 1.0 and Krug and it went incredibly well, I couldn’t notice any major glitches but one with Krug which involved him leaving…then instantly coming back. I haven’t been able to reproduce that bug as of late so we’ll see what happens, but everything else was a success and to put it simply, I got jumpscared like 3 times.

Something I was hesitating to add was an Extras menu to the game since I already had one in The Experience, however I am adding one to the game, I’ve already done some work on animatronic poses and stuff like that for the extras menu and have implemented them.

That pretty much raps this update up. Keep an eye out for an announcement in then next couple days if everything goes well. :)

Next up

Not ready to show the game yet but I thought I'd at least leave you all with this in the meantime. (There's no actual private tech test going on at the moment.)

There is a page in the works but I have no idea when it'll be ready.

Still fairly work in progress but happy with what I've made so far.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
