Development Update #4 + Reveal!

Another one! This might be the last one for a while, however.

The second level is almost fully complete. The only major missing things left are jumpscare animations, trophies and one animatronic AI. Normally I wouldn’t mind releasing the level as soon as it were done, however this level is the shortest and most linear of all and wouldn’t provide enough playtime on it’s own. Therefore, it will be released together with the third.

The third level is a different case. While the map is fully complete and everything has been planned out, there is one major issue ahead - optimization. The environment is detailed quite heavily and runs very poorly. Even after numerous attempts at optimizing the map, there wasn’t much of an improvement. This unfortunately prevents me from further working on it.

Miles Ahead has not received anything other than minor QoL changes, and will be worked on after the main levels are done.

Reveal!
Since I won’t be making any more updates soon enough, I wanted to leave this off with a tiny reveal. There are some spoilers here, so avoid this if you want to go in blind!

I’ll see you when I have some bigger news!

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
