Yo, so the cat is out of the bag, the Beta is out, my progress from all these months is finally exposed. I got some reception and watched my friend play trough the entire game so here's what's up.
The current mechanics are satisfactory balance wise on Max Mode. However, nights 1-4 suffer from lack of mechanics right now so this needs to be worked on. And it will be, the Beta isn't final as I said.
Now here's the elephant in the room. I received expectations from certain parties for the mechanics of this game to be much better than they are and probably will end up being. And since the release of the Beta I have kinda freaked out about expectations but upon reflection I need to say some things. I literally didn't plan for this game to be that fancy, I only started this update last year to get back into Clickteam Fusion. It was meant to be a quick short thing but grew in scope on the spot. Yes I am very passionate and I put a lot of effort into certain things, but the goal wasn't to go too crazy.
I was worried for a second that I'm out of touch with the FNaF Fan Games scene, and I am! I was ready to start playing some games to get inspiration for mechanics but I had to stop my spiral into this because I don't actually have time for this. I had planned to finish the game by the end of February but instead it looks like I'll have to keep developing it for another month. The only reason is because I really wanted to finish something again. And I will. But this was always meant to be a casual light load project. And it will end up like that. There are probably TRTF Remakes with better mechanics, I don't mind. It's just how things planned out. I never meant to create the big expectations that I feel now.
Btw this doesn't mean that I'm not taking ideas or feedback, it just means that the final mechanics will probably be simple and not that unique overall compared to other fan games. I simply have other things to take care in life than continue making this game for another seven months :(
