Hello, Flight here with some information about Outreach!
Firstly, holy crap thanks for following the game I appreciate it so much! I have a good bit of info to get through so let's get into it.
The Beginning
So far, in terms of being made and being mostly built, the "tutorial" stage is mostly put together. I'm still working on the assets, such as music and art, but the bare bones of the structure are made.
The Camp
There are many aspects and interactions being added into the main camp, from a "weapon's shop" to the idea of building up the camp from the ground-up into something even bigger. In the works are mechanics of upgrading the campsite, including adding mechanics and bringing more people together!
Unique Mechanics
On top of the mechanics of upgrading the Campsite, there is also a system of Quest Logging being developed, where you can reference the main Objective, side quests, and clues for the more difficult puzzles. This may be expanded more while I work out the system.
Another mechanic to this game is the ability to change up the avatar and the pronouns being used. This is important as I want this game to connect to the Player while telling the tale of the Protagonist.
That just about wraps up the Devlog of the progress made so far. There is a lot I want to put into this game but I'd rather announce more mechanics after they've been developed enough to be implemented. Until next time!
