Devlog #2


Menu has been fully redone so I am moving on to redrawing the cameras.

I've also started working on the time which works differently then most. If you want to see how the time works then feel free to keep reading.

Every 0.8 seconds a variable goes up by 0.0166666666666667 once it reaches 1, another variable is set to one which will have the time display 1AM (Same goes for 2-5AM). Going back to the first variable, the amount of seconds it takes is added on to by the "Anxiety" mechanic. The Anxiety mechanic is a variable that will change depending on what you're doing. If you are doing nothing (not having the camera up, not having the flashlight on) your anxiety will begin to increase. This means the more anxiety you have, it adds more time to the 0.8 seconds, gradually slowing down the time it takes for the variable. To counter this, just do something, open the camera's, go to a different camera, check the door windows with your flashlight basically just anything. When Pico and Giga arrive at your door and your flashlight reveals them at the window, your anxiety will spike, but when you fend them off with the doors, your anxiety will go down a good amount. The Anxiety variable maxes out at 1.2.
