Devlog #2: Progress, Switch, FUTURE!!!
(this title is slightly better than the previous one I had for this)


"Woah, another devlog already? Does that mean these will be a weekly thing?" You might be (hopefully not) saying, and the answer to that question is that these bad boys will show up whenever the hell I feel like it. Y'know, to keep you on your toes. I mean, you can't convince me that these devlogs aren't a national tragedy in some nation out there. It's an If It Was devlog, someone's gotta be screaming and crying their eyes out right now (it's me, I'm the someone).

Now, there's been a ton of progress done on the update. Maybe a bit too much, I haven't felt the sun on my skin for the past week and all the various fruits I've stockpiled underneath my bed have gone rotten. This is bad, but has nothing to do with If It Was, so let's just get on to that.

Death, am I right? Scary fucking thing, it can be seen everywhere in the world. It's just another natural part of life, etc, etc. Now while death might be scary to some, it can also be really cool. Which is why I'm letting all of these stupid characters experience it permanently. Aren't I a kind god?

Now, don't worry your pretty little head. If you really don't like the threat of some schmuck permanently dying to the most stupid bullshit ever, you can give 'em some extra lives.

It's done. All planned floors for this update have been added. Porting FNaFb 1 and FNaFb 3 didn't really take that long once I accidentally overdosed on fruit.

That's right, now you'll get to experience the joys of those mazes from FNaFb 3 Act 3! Don't worry, you can run this time around (it just attracts some unwanted attention though). Clearing all four of the 90's Generators or the 20's Generators will let you enter the FNaFb 1 and FNaFb 3 office's without having to do any of the normal stuff required for them. Y'know, if you really feel like not absolutely annihilating FNaFb 3 with your team of 8, most likely drugged, party members.

Tired of going out of your way to get all of your stupid little friends? Too lazy to get T. Bonnie? Then Phone Guy's RPS Challenge is the place for you! In this fantastical room you can face a phone with no hands and play a game of rock paper scissors (no hands required)!

Be warned though, you'll only have one chance to get the chosen party member. If you end up losing the game then you'll just have to do things the boring normal way (seriously, just go get T. Bonnie, it's not that hard).

Death is kind of like the future, right? This makes sense. Anyways, what do I mean about the future? Is this game going to end here? Going to end up in flames? Am I going to become a Minecraft YouTuber?

No.

This is just to say that after this update, I'll start work on...

FNaFb 1 If It WAS!

I just wanted to say that FNaFb 1 If It WAS and FNaFb 3 If It WAS will not (most likely) contain most of the stuff already added in this mod. Now that doesn't mean they won't share anything with each other, some Customizable Switches will obviously get to be in the other ones as well.

It's just that, I want all IIW mods to be different from each other. And by that I mean that they'll have their own unique quirks and stuff (it would also be really, really boring to work on IIW 1 and IIW 3 otherwise, since most of the work would just be porting over everything from IIW 2 instead of getting to come up with dumb shit).

And, since I don't know how to close off these devlogs at all. IIW 1 is planned to have a much higher focus on those random events that were added at the start of IIW 2's creation. Since I honestly felt like it would've been fun to add more random shit that can happen during a playthrough.

IIW 3 is planned to pretty much only contain a glued together ACT 1 and ACT 2. There most likely won't be an ACT 3 just like how this mod doesn't contain Afterstory (not all of it, anyways). It's also planned to have a character select screen where you can choose whoever you're going to play as.

And as for IIW CC? Don't count on it. Depends on if I get bored enough.
