Hello, this post will be quite long.
These days I've been going through some problems at college and with my health, so the game will be delayed and it will probably take me 1 to 2 years to finish the game. I've been having a lot of fun making the game, but my studies and health are putting pressure on me.
I was even thinking about remaking the game. A good game is not a 3-month project, but a years-long one. I don't want to rush through games because usually games made quickly are shit and rubbish (sorry for the term), of course there are exceptions.
I will list some of the changes that the game will have:
- Improvement in the AI of the suits (like in A:DI, instead of the suit going in a direct path, it can return to where it was, ok I'll give an example, PN Mickey can get up from Character Prep 1 but he can lie down shortly thereafter).
- I'll redo some renders (Oh, really? xD)
- I will try to make the game time faster, honestly 1 minute and 30 seconds every hour is very frustrating, I will change every hour to 1 minute and a maximum of 1 minute and 10 seconds.
- Maybe I'll do the Legacy Mode separately (there's a high chance of that happening), for that I'll have to change the page here, anything I'll let you know.
- The camera's HUD will return to being the same as the original A:DI (forgive me for those who liked it, but for me this lost a lot of the originality of the A:DI, which I want to keep).
- The Suits will be maintained but, as I mentioned previously, they will undergo improvements.
- Acephalous and Pete will no longer forcibly lower the camera (WHAT A BORING MECHANICS).
- The game will no longer have black borders, this means that the entire game will be full screen.
Does this mean you will practically remake the game? Yes, but forgive me, it's for everyone's good, I want the game to be as good as possible and I don't want to rush into it, I've had a lot of fun making the game but at the same time I felt angry, sad that the game could have stayed better, etc.
I ask everyone's forgiveness and I hope you understand me.
If I change my mind (which I probably won't do), I'll let you know.
