what's up gamers
it's the end of February, you know the drill.
Significant updates:
1.I will now also personally use UE5 to work on the project, like visual passes and generally having a way more efficient way to direct the game engine side of things.
2.i've been doing some in game merch designs (which are important to the gameplay) (tho i won't show any of them, just to not spoil the suprise)
3.we've been working on on that chase track i mentioned in the previous devlog
3/5. on top of that your boi has been getting into music lately, the insomnia video i posted last week was a little test for that
nothing crazy, i'm still bad at it, but i might make some stuff in that department aswell
following from that, i'm kind of trying to have a finger in every pie, which is a very Hakita way to put it.
basically since i'm the director, it would be very good for me to understand each department so i can, direct better.
my strong suit is 3D and animation, but even if i can get a grasp of how music production works or what the actual fuck UE is about, or be able to do decent enough concept art for others, that would go a long way.
unfortunately that burnout i mentioned last time is still very persistent.
i've been trying to finish other stuff (like a video about lethal company which when it comes out you should definitely checkout fr fr-) and like i said learn a bit of music.
and that is somewhat the result of me having a little les motivation than usual tow work on this game, at least the 3D aspects.
ardjh and ashrindy have been experiencing burnout aswell, and i can't really, force them to work.
this is a passion project after all, and it can't move without it's passion.
the best course of action is to give everyone time to get their spirits back up (and i mean, it's the only thing that can be done really).

it might change in the future, but here it is none the less.
