Helly everyone!
For this first entry I will not be adding any news on the development of the game (as there’s nothing new really atm), but rather focus on the plans and schedule.
The game at its current state is, I would say, roughly 80% finished. All the turrets and enemies (except one) have been finished and should only be receiving another iteration of polish. Most projectiles are also finished, but need more polish.
As said on the main page the game will feature 15 story mode levels and 3 continous mode levels. Atm 11 story mode levels are finished. In terms of code the game is more or less finished, aside from fixes of bugs reported by people who play the game here. :) There could also be some minor tweaks and additions relating to fixes of the main menu and so on (as it is currently more or less just a placeholder).
So a rough schedule:
August - Sounds implemented
August - Main menu finished
September - Compose Music
September - Particles tweaked
September - Finished levels tweaked
September - Tweak enemy and turret textures
September - Green light campaign started
October - All levels finished
October - Music implemented
November - Last fixes, tweaks and polish
I am targeting a late November/early December release on steam (fingers crossed for future Greenlight!) at 5-10$ price Point (VERY uncertain atm, depends on where I end up feature-wise).
Next devlog will feature some real insight into the making of the game and what has been worked on recently. :) Stay tuned!
