Hey all. It's been quite a while.
Over the past two weeks or so, I've been the most productive I have been since somewhere around May 2021 when I was working on Phobia: The Awakening, before I even considered releasing the game to the public. That's about three years ago now, which is insane.
I have a HUGE on off relationship with these games at this point, but what I've done for Showman's: The Awakening makes Phobia look older than it actually is. Granted, they are both the same exact game, but Showman's takes everything Phobia has and only makes it better. Some characters are more fun, some are more intimidating, there's small (and major) details that are unlike anything I've ever made, better environments and so, so much more.
While I am trying my best to keep things optimized, I'm also making the game more detailed in the process, so it may end up not running as well for those with weaker PCs. There's unfortunately not much I can do about that, but I'm sure it'll run just fine for most of you all!
I still have no idea when it'll release, as there's still quite a lot for me to do, but I'm aiming for some time this year and I'm pretty confident in that, but of course I can't guarantee anything. It gets done when it's done!
