Devlog I don't know what number because I lost count also an late 200 special follower post


Hello everybody. As you all know, I'm doing the beta version of ADI Revamped. Some time ago there was a vote on whether everyone wanted a new mechanic in the game or not. So... I want a little more than that, I hope the extra delay is worth it.

Some updates:

  • The number of suits/characters in the game will go from 23 to 29 or 30 (3-4 for normal mode and 3 for legacy mode), as to whether the quantity is still unclear, I will explain in this post later.

  • The Pirate Caverns will have a third floor (Yes, this is officially confirmed now).

  • Still in Pirate Caverns, The Face will be able to go to some places that he couldn't go to in the original game. A render that is already in the game:

  • I was thinking about brutally modifying Jeff the Killer's night as I think it's a bit monotonous, he just appears and just hides and then he leaves, I wanted something more... however... I'm still thinking about it.

  • Ok, now, I will reveal the new mechanics for the game (a very poorly done sketch of the office):

Explaining a little. The camera flash will be available on normal nights, you can ONLY use this if you have the power on, not using the cameras and are not hidden under the desk.

There will be 2 suits that will explore this mechanic (I won't reveal these suits for now).

  • I was thinking about some mechanics adding a kind of radio to the game. Remember that I mentioned that the number of suits is still inaccurate? So, it's because of that. I still don't have many ideas and I don't know if I will implement this specifically in the game, but what I have in my head... You would have to play the radio to some suit/humanoid (I don't know for sure yet) and he would sometimes turn off the radio and you would have to turn the radio back on, otherwise, it would go to the office and you wouldn't be able to do anything (not even turning off the power would help). So this still remains an idea, it can be kept or discarded.

  • Night 6 of legacy mode will be a boss night (already in development, however, characters not revealed... yet).

  • New cameras will be in normal mode (If I add radio mechanics it will be 13, if not, it will be 12).

  • There will be some cutscenes in the game, and phone calls will be re-recorded.

I made this special post for 200 followers, as the other video I had posted was simply Radiance's FNaTI Undying which would be Henry in normal mode but was quickly discarded.

The game will probably take longer because of the updates I want to make, but I want the game to be as good as possible. I hope you understand and wait patiently.

Also, I don't work with dates. So I don't know when I will release the beta version.

UPDATE: Radio mechanic was scrapped due to many cams in game.

Next up

The Caverns Entrance has been replaced with an entrance. Style than it was supposed to be in the AnArt version, it also makes more sense for the island to have an entrance. I also started programming Legacy Mode (finally).
