DEVLOG | May


So, here we are. It's may, today's my birthday and the day of truth. This is most likely the last devlog until the trailer (Which will begin production soon)

I'm not sure when the Fazbear Gameverse 4 will come out. I expected it to come sooner but apparently things are pointing to another direction. Whatever happens, I'll finish my trailer and wait patiently until the event. In that period of time I'll be working on the demo of this game. My plan is to release the demo along when the trailer comes out (FG4 happens). It will be consisted of 2 nights and a post-night minigame (Hopefully).

Whenever I finish the trailer, I'll post some more teasers (Maybe) and work on the full game version. But as always, that's my plan. I don't know if it will turn out that way at the end.

I've made huge advancements lately, which I won't show too much because they are spoilers, but look at the cameras system I implemented + new perspective effect:

What I've been working more lately is in animations. This is still a 2D project, so obviously it's limited to being mostly static images. But I wanted to push this game to it's limits by animating what I could. Obviously I'm not pushing it to ridiculous standards as animating real time movement in cameras, that would be a nightmare with so many animatronics that share the same camera sometimes, but I did what I could regarding the office. I can't show all of them because, again, spoilers, but I think I can show this one:

(I swear it looks so funny because of the Gif frame rate, in game it's not so dull).

Now let's dive into the percentages:

Renders: 85% (Now as a whole, models are completely done since a while ago)

Soundtrack: 70% (No advancements yet)

Office gameplay: 50%

Post-nights: 0% (No advancements, YET. I'll start with them soon).

[I took out Models and Story because they are at 100% each.]

Overall progress: 50% aprox.


This is a special day since it's not only my birthday but also this is the day I said I'd release FNaM 3 CN demo 3 years ago. It never happened but I hope this project goes better.

Again, thanks to @Flequi for covering this game not once, but TWICE. I really appreciate it.
