With the imminent release of Fazbear Nights 2: Remake, active development on PFR will be resuming very soon.
First things first:
What about the hard drive?
lol (data still gone, gotta make do without it)
The Testing Program | Version 2.0
Yeah, the next update will be V2.0, and it'll be big. But the road ahead is still an absolute mess, but it's also been 3 years, so this is where the Testing Program comes in!
Soon, we will be looking for (brave) souls to help us with testing the new demo, by providing bug reports and feedback on gameplay etc.
The program will being in a state of which we would consider to be PFR v1.8, with the game being pretty much the same as you know it, but with better visuals and audio (and some new core functions implemented AKA inventory). After a while, we'll update the game again to unlock more content for testing, waiting for bugs and feedback to come in, and so on. Each update will call for a new wave.
The Testing Program | Waves
The Testing Program will happen in waves, with each major update granting access to more people. The first wave will be restricted to supporters, avid followers, and selected people.
Successive waves will allow anyone at random to participate.
The Testing Program | Online Required
To prevent the sharing of builds of The Testing Program, online verification will be required in-game, making offline play impossible. Do note, however, that this is only for the test builds themselves. The full demo release will obviously allow offline play as always.
The Testing Program | The Reasoning
It's mostly for fun. But this is also a good opportunity to spot all nasty bugs that we will miss (because we will). So we will be counting on you to help us out. By participating in The Testing Program, you are expected to report bugs and provide feedback. But do have fun, too!
With that being said, it begs one question... when????
Soon. For real this time i pinky swear on that
Expect something by december at the latest. Maybe. Maybe? sure, we can try
buh bye now i won't review the spelling etc
