Devlog Version 2.0.0

Hey everyone!

Potato Miners Demo version 2.0.0 has just been released!

The tutorial is causing some problems and thus has been removed. It will be added back in soon!

Click on 'Read Article' to view this updates full changelog.

Changelog Version 2.0.0

  • Reworked the ENTIRE art library of the game!

    Ain't it lookin' slick?

  • Added randomized Potato Miner characters

Each player now starts with their very own randomized Potato Miner character!

  • Added bombs

Bombs can be used to destroy collapsed / wall tiles, to kill other players or to collapse ceilings which can help defend your base.

  • Reworked wall blocks

Wall blocks now can't be placed on empty spaces anymore. You can polish stone blocks and turn them into wall blocks for a certain amount of time by right clicking on them (doesn't cost you anything). Wall blocks can only be broken with bombs.

  • Reworked the vendors

The base now has three main vendors instead of five. A simple selector menu allows you to scroll through the vendors inventory and buy what you need.

  • All prices increased

This change allowed us to create a bigger difference between the income for stone and other resources.

  • Resource income increased

You now get a bit more for every resource!

  • Added the coal resource

Coal can be mined right from the start, with a level one pickaxe.

  • Players movementspeed slightly reduced

Devlog Version 2.1.0

Hey everyone!

Here's a quick update on what I've been working on for the past weeks, exciting stuff!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark is out TODAY! 🖱️Advanced pointing, clicking action 🖨️Very funny words! Loads of them! 👻6 sarcastic, spectral cases to solve

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

A few screenshots of the places you'll cross in the Demo of Blu. You can play it today on #gamejolt !

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
