--- Overview (i think???)
Ryu is the obvious protagonist of Street Fighter as a whole, the original shoto character with his famous Shoryuken, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku and Hadouken on his toolkit, making him a balanced character in all that matters, more than functional when it comes to mid-range play, and generally just perfect for beginners and not.
--- His story in the Alpha Trilogy
(I still have to add a good bunch of his cutscenes in this game, Alpha 2 and 1 since I've already beated those games as Ryu but back then I wouldn't constantly post about me playing the games as X or Y characters)

In Alpha 2, Ryu fights against Sakura as a secret mid-boss match. She's been searching and looking forward to challenge him. Ryu wins and he keeps going, with absolutely no dialogues after.
--- Other details

When using X-Ism, Ryu's Hadoken resembles that of Super Street Fighter II Turbo (game which said Ism is based on), and his color palette also resembles that of his evil self, Evil Ryu, which is a secret playable character in Zero 2: Alpha and a exclusive character in Alpha 3: Upper.
His Metsu Shoryuken is a very interesting Super Combo. Ryu is ashamed of using it due to the influence of his Satsui no Hado (His victory pose after finishing with it reflects such) and the scar he did to Sagat, and while it does little damage when connected, if it connects from a far distance, it turns into his Shin Shoryuken and it does a good amount of damage. It works as a finisher and you can even do combos with it.
