It’s no secret that At the Heart of Ruin, our upcoming expansion, features a veritable cornucopia of scorching locales. Death by exhaustion, flame, or combustion is likely to be a frequent occurrence. Yet perhaps more than any location above ground, the subterranean depths of Dvendar Tharr are the worst; rivers of lava cut through rock, frequently blocking the way, making exploration a tenuous and perilous notion.

Even now, much is being reclaimed by the hellish rivers of the earth’s ichor. Few can say if the encroaching magma flows will swallow the depths themselves, though the danger is very much a real concern. What dwells here? And who in their right mind would dare delve into it?

As we draw closer to At the Heart of Ruin’s release, answers will perhaps manifest in time. Until then, do as you always do: stay safe, stay vigilant, and conquer the wasteland!
