We’re bringing you another locale this week, and this time it’s one of the many sites of grim ostentation that can be found throughout our upcoming At the Heart of Ruin expansion.

But what do we mean by grim ostentation? The answer can be found with the Wasteland Stalkers and their strict hierarchy. Stalkers’ ranks within the brood depend on the beasts they have slain, and most of their trophies can be found within the forum itself. Here, there are skulls of beasts and men alike, an unnerving offering of grim-faced reptiles, deadly serpents, and terrifying foes.

This forum, however, is not where the Wasteland Stalkers make their lair, but rather where they seek to intimidate those who would encroach upon their lands as well as display their pride. High above it, beyond lifts and ledges that are needed to ascend, a village is perched atop the hill, shrouded in bone spikes. None have traveled there and survived to tell the tale, yet still it remains, a lair from which the Wasteland Stalkers carry out their plans, hone their skills, and hunt the beasts and creatures of their home, Varnurud.

Will you find the Forum and look upon its trophies with disdain or awe? Will you come to seek the Wasteland Stalkers in enmity or perhaps in order to learn from them?
