I got to see both of these movies in theaters, and I enjoyed every second of it. So much suspense, tension, and evoking the fear of making a sound and staying invisible. Following this family's journey and watching them survive was great stuff. So many moments made you sit right at the edge of your seat.

There's going to be a third one and I really hope John Krasinski writes and directs it again. He originally didn't want a sequel. When the time came, he asked someone else to write for part II and that he'd direct it instead. However, he was asked to give it a shot. He said he found himself wondering how the story would continue and once he began to write, it all came to him. He completed a script he was happy with and honestly made a solid sequel, which can't be said for most films. I bought the soundtrack the same day because it was filled with such beautiful music.
