Don't worry! I didn't forget about weekly updates. Hexa Devlog incoming:


Quick Explanation:

So basically, I took so long to make another full devlog becuase I wanted to make sure I had a lot of stuff to talk about. That is all!

Anyways...

Unfortuantely I have no idea how to make perlin noise so this was best attempt with Photoshop's render "clouds". If anyone would like to direct me to some resources on how the heck to... ahem... make some noise please let me know!

The irregulatity is turned down in most of the later screenshots because I hated this very unrandom hump.

Big Maps

Theoretically these maps could be as big as you want, but for now I'm keeping it to a size my poor laptop can handle.

Also, I discovered stack overflows...

(The code is returning "Color" not "color", and "Color" is returning "Color" which returns "Color" which returns...)

Fortunately Unity actually threw the error instead of crashing the second time around or I would surely be in a pickle

While I will try to keep up with weekly updates, winter break is starting! Which honestly may mean more updates from me, but also, its winter break. Can't let all that extra time to sleep go to waste!

I'll continue to release devlogs when I think there's enough content to make one.

One step closer... to the edge?

We kinda stopped working on Highway 32 for awhile but now we're back to work!

It's not much but we're trying to get back into it.
