i say this because you can't really see more than one screech at a time unless you have horrible lag or are getting pranked by LSplash, and because screech is always referred to as singular while the giggles are refferent to as plural and when you die to them, guiding light says "you died to screech" and "you died to a giggle". and this would also explain all the dead screech corpses in the nest, as they are failed experiments by seek to create a minion of his, and only screech being infected correctly. the only time screech is referred to as plural is when el goblino says "i was in a nightmare being chased by a lot of those screechy duds" in the tower heroes event, but that is just a reference to where screech came from, as it was a nightmare the creator had
