Hello everybody!
It's the time of the month again, welcome back! :D
This month is probably one of the most important months of the entire monthly devlog series. Why you may ask?
The Final Battle is Finished.
For a long time, the Final Battle (PACIFIST) was the turning point in the development. I managed to implement all of the attacks and even though I say it's completely finished, I still have a tiny bit more to do in case of optimization, testing, and transitions.
The Final Battle is composed of 4 different parts. But overall, this is going to be a very interesting and weird final battle xd
Now, let's go over the changes that I did this month.
1) NEW STORY MODE SCREEN
For years, I've imagined of adding a Story Mode screen that would be better in terms of the UI. Well, here it is!
Three different slots can be seen in the screenshot. These three slots are the main story modes: NORMAL, MLG and PACIFIST.
Clicking on the unlocked slot will give a popup that will show the details about the mode, and the ability to start the mode.
After entering the codes, the locked slots will unlock and will stay like that permanently.
The main reason why this feature is being implemented now is that my old computer somehow couldn't handle saving games made with Clickteam xd
2) SOME OTHER CHANGES
Besides the addition of the new Story Mode screen, I made some changes to TRAINING Mode.
- After a long time, TRAINING is now available for Co-op!
-Upon dying, you won't get a game over screen. The player will automatically respawn after 2 seconds later instead.
- A TIME ELAPSED section has been added. (Bottom left)
- The introduction screen for TRAINING has been scrapped.
Besides TRAINING mode, I finished every
cutscene in the game.

So what's left then?
I just need to make the Russian translation for the cutscenes I finished, it will be much easier (and a bit harder) since I moved onto a new cutscene maker system.
4) (POSSIBLE) RELEASE DATE
With the Final Battle and the English translation of the final cutscenes completed, when will Dr. Weed Gaster 2.0 be finally released?
To be honest, I was planning to release this game at the end of May if everything went well. I couldn't really devote my time to the game because of my excessive homework. -_-
I plan to host the final Dr. Weed Gaster Discord testing on the server sometime later to find dem bugs and then release the game a week after the testing.
However, if everything goes well (The Development and the Discord Testing), Dr. Weed Gaster will possibly be released in the Summer, most likely June - July .
But don't take my word for it! Anything could go wrong.
Besides that, I cannot wait to publish the game!
