Ease Collection is completely switching directions and rebranding.


For people still following this page somehow, I have decided to rebrand "Ease Collection" as "Ease the Alien" and it will be releasing as "chapter-by-chapter." However, I have also decided to "re-purpose" Ease Collection as a hub for REMASTERS of the original Scratch Ease games on Gamejolt. The old games will be updated with QoL features and better art. Right now, the plan for "Ease the Alien" is for 6 different chapters that retell the Ease story while still keeping to the game's original vision that I lacked the skills to properly tell a decade ago when I released them on Scratch.

Ok, i'll start an Ease Game Jam. Its going to be running on Itch.io for a week. Unfortunately I don't know how to run it on Gamejolt, i tried. https://itch.io/jam/the-ease-collection-jam. Winning game goes in the collection.

Its been so long since I have shown actual gameplay footage or screenshots, so heres a "round" of the new Ease 2 prototype. The game has been redesigned to be more arcade-like, with enemies getting faster/firing projectiles faster every round.

This is a special #ScreenshotSaturday for Ease Collection because I just did a MASSIVE art overhaul, hoping to overhaul the music and bosses next. My pixel art skills are slowly improving, and hopefully I can improve this even further.
