End of Day 2

Split screen and controller support is up and working. Just making the required changes to the gameplay, such as the game ending when everyone is dead. Players can kill each other, and all power ups, including the bomb kick and throw are implemented. The main thing remaining for gameplay is the addition of some basic cat AI that move and drop bombs.

Sound effects have all been recorded, and are just awaiting the required code in order to be implemented. No music has been put together yet, but we have a few ideas.

All in all, the game will be finished in time for the jam, but we have some items that are on our “if we have time” list. Things like screen shake, power ups being able to be destroyed, gamemode with a random fuse time, etc. There is of course many other things that could be done to flesh this out into a game, but that can come after the jam if the Bomber Cat gets a decent community response!

What you all think

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...
