Elsewhere, on the surface...

A young man of student age works in his bedroom. It’s been almost a year since he first became the Composer of a licensed project. But suddenly, he got an emergency call from his Employer. It just so happens that today Sburb came out for real! It’s not April Fools today. It’s September 15th. Some meteors already fell on several countries.

The time has come, the Employer said. Time for the best members of working team to move to the secret mansion in another dimension. Forever. The Composer packed his belongings and jumped through his window right into Employer’s mansion. He chose to live in the basement, as it was giving gloomy Alternian vibes that he enjoyed. Now, the team will keep working on the long-running webcomic.

Sometime later, the colleagues were watching news of their homeworld. Earth was totally destroyed. The Composer also felt that it’s not his homeworld anymore. Something in it seemed... different than usual.

The Employer came up with the audience solution. When his comic will be finished, it will be saved on a server and thrown into obscure pocket of a realm unknowable to mortals. Some day or other, it will be available on the network of every single universe in paradox space.

One day, the Employer came to visit the Composer, and noticed that he has doggy ears. Does he want to look like the Witch of Space? He responded negative, claiming it to be an annoying mutation. The Employer remembered and told the reason: it turned out that he keeps samples of hussium (413 Hu) in his exhibition. This rare element gives enlightenment to its keepers. But unfortunately, it gives minor mutations such as dog ears, or yellow skin similar to Homer Simpson.

Soon, the Composer had a wonderful dream, and decided to capture this fairytale in a video game. Thus, he also became the Indiedev. It beared lots of similarities with his Employer’s webcomic, as well as a classic RPG from the 90’s. The game’s protagonist was going to be the descendant of a young wealthy marquise, a tricky liesmith, his dearest happiness, and a certain megalomaniac.

But before the public demo was finished, something unexpected happened in the mansion...
