what the fuck did I mean by 4D chess

I mean, I understand it meant I was smart making this post a year ahead, but since then I've had a better understanding with what a forth dimension could look like

sure, it's not easy visualizing that, I'm not even sure you can, but I get the concept

Now, before you other 4D nerds go "Eurm akshully, time is the fourth dimension", I already know that, but for the sake of this explanation, we are just going to ignore that fact.

So, you know how when you look at a 2D image, and you can see everything.

For example, if there is a wall between two 2D beings, they can't see through it, (also honestly I don't know how to visualize seeing in 2D), but, if you look at the image from a 3D perspective, you can see either side of the wall.

Now, imagine how seeing a 4D environment would be like. You could also see through walls, just like how you can in a 3D environment looking into a 2D environment.

Now, the fourth dimension also includes a forth direction on the axis. In 3D, there is X Y Z. In 4D, there is an additional axis you can move on.

Pretty interesting.
