Why does USA and all the other countries are mostly kinning on Mario? I'm from Russia, and we have a lot more Sonic fans here, that's why I don't understand. 90% of my fyp is Sonic, but when I'm scrolling YT shorts, it's becoming Mario. I don't hate that franchise, in fact, it is a part of my childhood, but I just don't understand why do I see so many Mario.

Especially it counts Mario Madness. I remember when mod just came out alongside Vs Sonic.exe, and even though MM had more songs, vs Sonic.exe was more popular... yeah, it was three years ago... And still, I see more of MM than vs Exe, which kinda annoys me. Mario Madness is everywhere. At least not in Sonic Fandom. (Somario doesn't count you mfs)

If you can, please, explain me why does most of other countries prefer Mario. I'll wait.
