I'm Sam, a member of the Deluxe team that has worked with some 3D rendering in FNAF 1: Deluxe and other things.

As we're nearing 1,500 followers, we all thought it would be a great idea to leave an FAQ post to let users easily understand how Deluxe works with the original games!

Is this game free? Do I need a copy of FNAF?

You MUST have a copy of the original FNAF games in order to play Deluxe.
This is to avoid copyright infringement and give proper support to Scott Cawthon. Consider Deluxe as a "modded" version of FNAF.
Most FNAF games are only $5-USD on Steam, which are very easy to acquire! Very cheap!

Will there be mobile? Mac? Linux?

There are currently NO plans for ports at the moment. Sorry!
Our team is not experienced in those devices, and it would be extremely hard to port to mobile, make it work, and also avoid piracy at the same time.

My virus detector(s) say this is a virus. Is it?

Short answer: No.
Long answer: We believe it could be false positives from the shaders, the verification system that uses Windows-based code, and/or the fact that Clickteam games are usually unsigned and list no publisher. These qualities would definitely make Deluxe look suspicious to antiviruses!

You should add (character/mechanic/idea) to the game!
