Final Multiplatform Update

(1.5 PC + 1.0.2 Android)


Hello people. After all these months I'm actually saying it. At this point on, I'm done with this game. It's been over a year since this project has dropped to you and I have been supporting it until now. I actually wanted to finish this before 2022 but I promised that I will never rush things out anymore and I want to keep my promises. Besides, I really just want to give this game a proper send-off. I know I have hard times saying goodbye to some of my games, even to this one, but with the recent release of the Android version this one final patch seems like a perfect closure. I certainly hope I've fixed and improved everything that was in my powers by now, that way I can proceed further and don't look back. Now, let's start with this really, really long changelog:

  • Fixed the Fade Effect sometimes not going away after an animatronic encounter on Secret Night (it's only fair that no bugs prevent you from beating this night)

  • Added new spicy renders for some gameplay and design purposes on the Secret Night

  • Improved Ambience in the Secret Night

  • New icons for Secret Customize Menu

  • Several upgraded camera shots made using new rendering engine

  • Fixed Scrollings possibly getting stuck for a few milliseconds

  • Fredbear encounter has become more intense with tweaked mechanics, visual and audio changes

  • Puppet's Music Box level has been resized to not to overlap with borders

  • Static sound effect will no longer play when your camera is down

  • Fixed player being able to switch cameras while its pull up animation on the Main Nights

  • Static now fades out more properly if the performance issues are present

  • Fixed Fredbear, Toy Freddy and Marionette teleporting on certain conditions

  • Game Over Screen buttons had been fixed a bit

  • SpringBonnie Easter Egg had a tiny chance of softlocking the office

  • Added Halloween decorations to the Main Nights (if anyone is going to wait for that)

  • Fixed the Fade Out effect upon losing for the both Custom Menus and the Endless Menu

  • Slight fixes to the sounds in the Custom Select Menu

  • Made some optimisations for Toy Chica Minigame

  • Fixed jump hitbox for Toy Chica Minigame

  • Added a jump animation to Toy Chica in her minigame

  • Added a death animation to the Boss on Toy Chica's Minigame

  • Lined up the 'YOU WIN' and 'Restart' texts whether you ended the Toy Chica Minigame on or under the floating grass platform

  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from quitting the Toy Chica minigame upon losing

  • Background Bush has been fixed in Toy Foxy's Minigame

  • Fixed the clipping of the second fire obstacle in Toy Foxy's Minigame

  • Toy Foxy's jump has more hidden tricks now

  • Fixed double direction walking in Toy Foxy's and Bonnie's Minigames

  • Made Toy Foxy truly uncontrollable after losing

  • Overall nerfs to Toy Foxy's Minigame once again

  • Fixed the blasting position upon touching a Mine in Toy Bonnie's Minigame

  • Repositioned Animatronics in the Extras Menu for the best shots

  • Final Cutscene has been improved

  • Added the old-school Easter Egg characters from FNAF 2 (into the respective night)

  • Withered animatronics' overlap in the office has been balanced

  • Withered Foxy will no longer block the flashlight at the start of the night

  • That one Withered Golden Freddy knock-off now appears from 1 AM on the canon version of the secret night. You're Welcome.

  • Overall Nerfed Withered Foxy

  • New Jumpscare animation for one of the characters

  • Actually fixed Double Jumpscare occurrences in the Main Nights

  • Jumpscares are more effective now

  • Many more Easter Eggs

  • Minor optimizations

  • Code clean-up

  • Other small visual improvements

Now, from reading this gorgeous changelog, let's get to the smaller bits

Android exclusive changes:

  • Fixed UI elements

  • Resized letters and numbers

  • Secret Custom Night Menu is now functioning

  • Fixed Custom Select Menu

  • Fixed Marionette activity button getting stuck in the Custom Night Menus

  • Fixed the Endless Night High Score notification

  • Added a notification whenever the Halloween event is near

  • Fixed the position of the stars achieved for completing all Minigames and the Secret Night

  • Fixed the night text in the Secret Night

  • Tweaked Extras Menu one last time

  • Added original Headers for the Minigames

  • Increased the hitboxes for Back and Restart buttons

  • Fixed Control settings not working for Toy Foxy's and Bonnie's Minigames

  • Fixed Controls getting stuck with Multi-Touch in Toy Chica's and Foxy's Minigames

  • The grass that 'Goal Sign' is standing on got its dangerous inheritances back

  • Toy Foxy tries to balance again upon reaching the Goal

  • Toy Chica Minigame is actually possible now

PC exclusive changes:

  • Small graphics update that removes blurriness caused with DirectX11

  • Tweaked the Warning Screen

  • Fixed Toy Bonnie interrupting already stopped sounds while playing his jumpscare in the Main Nights

  • New camera animation in the FNAF 2 Night

  • I've done some more job for Scott and fixed BB's render while in the office where his lego hand would clip into his shoulder using our amazing photoshop techniques (it's PC exclusive here since this render has already been added to older Android Port versions in order to lower the size of placeholders)

  • Fixed some ground floating in Toy Foxy's minigame

And of course some other things that didn't make it to the changelog. FWR had its quirks; it didn't have a great start, I didn't have any proper motivation at the end of its main development, but in the end I'm glad I went on with it. The experience I've had has definitely infuenced me in a lot of ways, and I would say it's for the best. I got done with FFPS OCN at 1.3.1.3 , now I'm done with this game. Time to look into what future holds for us. Goodbye, Fredbear's Workshop Remastered.
