FINAL Update (10/17/16)


Hey everyone! It’s TheMasterGames! :)

I decided to make one FINAL update on the progress of ONaSC: SL, as well as the future of the series and my game creation.

And when I say final, I mean the final update with any information of the game’s progress. Like I promised, characters and screenshots will be released later on, but for now, let’s call this the last update until something critical happens.

Alright, enough banter, here we go.

Status of Sister Location

At the moment, the development of ONaSC: SL is on hiatus. I made a post about that quite recently, so go check it out for more information.
However, I do want to give a final update on the status of the game, so let’s do that.

  • I can confirm that there will be a tutorial in the game. You’ll be able to play it from the Custom Night menu. It will include voice-over by mister_polygon on Reddit.

  • The main gameplay will have a different Phone Guy who has yet to be confirmed.

  • The AI is nowhere near finished. However, the animations are set, so there’s that.
    That’s the final update on the status of SL! Now, onto the big stuff…I can confirm that there are a few more games coming in the ONaSC series. I know some people consider this “milking”, but most of these games are remakes anyway. Here’s a list of upcoming games:

  • ONaSC: Sister Location (Canon)

  • ONaSC 1 Remake

  • ONaSC 2 Remake

  • ONaSC ?: ???
    You may note that some of the titles are italicized. This means that those games will replace their old versions as the canon game. The old versions will become non-canon. Hopefully, that doesn’t confuse you.I honestly don’t know what’s next for my game creation after ONaSC ends. I will most likely move on from the Scratch language and start using Game Maker. However, I can’t confirm this yet.
    I also can’t confirm I’ll make any more Five Nights at Freddy’s fan games. I might make one with the Game Maker software, but it’ll probably be just a test of the tools. The reason I’m considering moving on from FNaF fan games isn’t because the series is dying. It’s because I felt like I’ve done a lot with the series, and I want to move on from it. I’m still a FNaF fan, but I can’t keep making games out of it forever.
    Who knows? I might even make a Undertale fan game… might. ;)That’s it for now. I hope you understand what I’m doing. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. I’ll be happy to answer any questions about ONaSC: SL and other games.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
