Finished, with a major setback.


G’day guys.
I have some good news and some bad news regarding the game:

The good news is the game is pretty much officially complete, I have literally have one more post game feature to finish. Say 98%

The bad news is the game has some serious crashing issues, it is in serious need of optimisation, and I don’t know how I can do this without sacrificing texture and animation quality, the game tends to crash upon using the camera system, it happens randomly, I am going to work as best as I can to figure this out, but I don’t have high hopes guys…

So at this point the only successful way I have tested the game is via android port, which I optimised for mobiles and it works completely so the PC version is going to be a real chore. Everything seems to work fine on android, the AI are working great, some need some changes so the game isn’t so difficult.

That’s basically it guys, if anyone has some tips on optimising Clickteam games, I would greatly appreciate it.
Pray for Five Nights Before Freddy’s, it’s getting closer and could be out within a month.

Foxioo's static shader is quite satisfying to look at, still got a few kinks to iron out though.

*insert wide putin music* My biggest regret with this game is making it in a 4:3 aspect ratio, what the hell was I thinking?

I grew up playing 4:3 games stretched to 16:9 so I'm used to that, but any further, like 20:9, looks so wrong 😭
