FinLab 1.3.2 (Hotfix/Balance)

A few balance tweaks and bug fixes, changelog below:

Changes:

  • Lowered the price of the mummyfish dramatically

  • Price of anubisfish was raised significantly (before it was mistakenly $10 per fish)

  • All secret shop pack fish sell for more

  • Shimmeraxolotl, Shimmerdolphin, and Shimmerorca are now free as a reward for beating the game (similar to the Shimmerfish)

  • Shimmer is visibly a bit more thick

  • Shimmerdolphin/shimmerorca are now less metallic and the albedo textures are more noticeable

  • Shimmeraxolotl shimmer effect is toned down slightly to be less shiny

Bug fixes:

  • As mentioned before the Anubisfish is no longer $10

  • The texture for the dino egg was remade due to UV seams (for both the prop and for jurrasic jungle)

  • Added an internal cheat for migrating and wiping fish family genes in case of compatibility issues with the new update

merged my sims build mode thingy with my A* test. Really cool to see the two systems interact very well together. There's probably some edge cases but I'm pretty happy with this.

Took me way too long to remake the animations, but here she is.

This game has still been on my mind. Still suffering a catastrophic game dev burnout. But I had a concept for a prehistoric/dino level in my head. I made a test song for it as a musical challenge (may not be in the game). Mostly for fun.

I think I have a bit too much fun writing the wiki. Shoutout to the 5% of players that read all of this lol.

WIP of a space pack (unrelated to the cosmic fish)

Spent a few hours today remaking some Sims build mode functionality. Not really making a game with it atm, just a curiosity. Walls are unbelievably jank, but not bad for a couple hours. I'm mostly messing with the system in case I make something like it.

Non-artist attempts an RPG protagonist. An actual artist could do this faster and better but anyways. Now I gotta redo all of my animations.

Working on post-game content. After completing post game content you'll be able to unlock ultra rare content, such as this new water type and it's prehistoric aquatics.

Progress. It looks a bit less crappy now.
