Five Nights at Freddy's X: Why it never would have worked out.


So for those who don't know, Five Nights at Freddy's X was a game being developed by me and @TFANews. The game started when @Kengio won a Blooket being hosted by yours truly and Aero. Kengi got to decide what game we would make. Thats how FNAF X was born. Me and Aero soon began working on Concepts for it. We decided to start with character designs. We started with Freddy. This was his 1st concept.

I wanted it to be like Toy Freddy in a way, but it was clearly a bad choice. It was a way too bright orange and resembled a cat now. Too much Blue was used here. It literally no longer resembled Freddy. It looked like its own character. That was bad. This is also the only scrapped concept. Every other design was used. We then made the final version of the old design for X Freddy.

It was a lot better. There was still some blue on him, but that was for his pants. Freddy's primary color is actually just a very dark orange! He was given more traditional Freddy colors, so it was a lot better.

There was still one problem. The designs (mainly Freddy and Bonnie) were copying FNAF+. This was a big problem. When making FNAF X (Revival), we decided to make new fresh designs which unfortunately were never made due to the Revival's cancelation happening not long after. Another problem with FNAF X was that I would literally never pay attention to it. I would always be focusing on other projects. Meaning we would get literally nothing done. The last main problem with it was that people thought the name meant FNAF Multiply, since X is the symbol for Multiplication. This is not true, its just the regular letter X.

With all this in mind, FNAF X would have never made it to the light of day. As much as I would've liked it to release, it just wouldn't happen. It was also pretty bare.

Well this was a bit of a ramble, but I guess this could be interesting or something? I dunno.

Last year in the month of December, the Jack-O-Fazbear's series was finished. It was originally intended to be a quadrilogy, but I'm glad its just a trilogy now.

The story may be done, but the series has one more thing in store.
