Yep, I’ve made some good progress on A new age… For starters, I made the beginning cutscene, fixed the menu, and finally gotten around to making Dipsy’s AI! (Sorta, lol) I’ve gotten all his poses down, as well as a machanic down that was brought back from the dead! Y’all remember Tubbyland: A Nostalgic Age? (It’s fine if you have no idea what that is lmao, it was a game I made awhile back, but was taken down by me as I wasn’t proud of it, which I do and don’t regret doing that, as I wouldn’t have even thought of making this game now!) but essentially there was a spotlight mechanic that was inspired by another FNaF fan game of the name of Five Nights at Theo’s 5! Although, the mechanic has been changed since Nostalgic age… and to clarify, no, the mechanic never got put into the “final” product of A nostalgic age lol… here’s some gameplay screenshots of the cameras as well as dipsy with the spotlight on and off!


I’m aware that this particular room looks kinda bad, however I plan to add more things to the room in the future (if I have enough thermo anyways) But that’s not all, I’ve recently have talked to the beta tester of Fragmented Reality 1 (and now this one as well!) about the story, which is far more dark than the last entry (however it’s still pretty laid back and may possibly get darker for the final game! But don’t worry, I won’t make it unbearably dark and y’all have my word for it) however this game will be HEAVILY story based (with good gameplay too!) and will have a sorta tragic ending… Not going to say too much about it as if I say anything else I’ll spoil the entire series! Also the numbers you see is a W.I.P of a Breaker mechanic, essentially every camera has its own breaker that will slowly deplete the more you use it, and if you use the Spotlight it will drain faster! But once it runs out, that specific camera will be unusable for the rest of the night! Which leads me to the second part of this Devlog!
-Gameplay-
It’s been decided that the gameplay will be more based on waiting for something to finish with interruptions (which would be the characters) To make this game more interesting I’m going to later add a Stopwatch, which will decide what rank you get…

Those are ONLY examples and will probably change (as beating the night in 1 min seems to be near impossible) The Ranks won’t affect anything so don’t worry about screwing somthing up because you got an F-Rank lol, it’s only for the sake of adding a challenge to the game… I cant wait to release a demo for this game! This game is far more exciting and interesting than the first game by a landslide and the animations are actually pretty good imo (which is saying somthin because I don’t usually like the animations I make, but I think I’ve outdid myself this time! But I’m not going to boast about it anymore lol) If you guys like games like Playtime with Percy or Tealerland you might like this game (or maybe not, who knows lol) I’m generally excited to show you guys the game once it gets out of its Alpha state!
