This has been something TFA and I have been talking about Rebooted being separated from the Chronicles, but have doubted it since we didn't really know how we could do it.
See, before Rebooted could be separated, we had 3 steps to go through.
It would need a brand new story to fit its own timeline. I've thankfully thought of something to replace the old lore.
A new name would be needed, since the "Five Nights with" prefix is reserved for The Five Nights with Bloodtime Chronicles and The Five Nights with Bloodtime Movie. Thankfully, a new title has been chosen.
The page for Rebooted would need to be updated to fit the separation. The updated page will be done soon.
I didn't think I could write a new story for Rebooted since I already liked its lore enough. But eventually, I got something down. I'm still writing the full story though.
Now, why did I choose to separate Rebooted from the chronicles? Because, if Death Destined did well, I could make two more Bloodtime games myself. This means that if Rebooted did get separated from the Chronicles, then it could get a sequel like it was meant to. And that became reality.
Sadly, I can't make any new sequels right now. I can't just declare Genocide a sequel because it isn't 100% one. Its still gonna be an expansion to Rebooted. But hey, at least Rebooted has a chance of a sequel, or at least a chance of a game being set in the same universe.
Now, I wanna thank you guys for the support I've gotten from you all for the two years I've been on Gamejolt. As a thank you, I'll give you a look at what to expect from Genocide.
