Everyone’s favorite roguelike Pong API demo on GameJolt is updated! Here’s what’s new.
First and foremost, all of the trophies now work. You can get one for connecting to the GameJolt API (automatic if you play via QuickPlay or Flash), there’s one for pressing the “addTrophy” button in the API test menu, and there’s one for playing the game, by pressing Play in the main menu. Very tough!
There’s also two working high score boards now. One is for “most time spent in the main menu before pressing the set score button” and one is for enemies defeated. Good luck!
Of course, the API test menu has a bunch of fancy new features that should probably work most of the time maybe. Try them out! Then go take a look at HaxeFlixel.com, the FlxGameJolt source code, or GameJolt’s very own API docs via the buttons on the main menu.
If you’re just looking for a good game, don’t despair. This version adds “endless” mode, which pits you against progressively larger and faster enemies in the main game. Watch out for obstacles, which can deflect your ball!
