Today I learned that, on my machine, Opera GX has a bug where if you start downloading a file it'll download all of it but not confirm it's completed internally.
If you don't force it to shutdown via Task Manager or something, and close it normally, it will delete the 100% in-tact and functional files that you downloaded just for shiggles.
If those files happen to be projects that you thankfully archived, or raw .pixil files with layers that are now gone for good, you're fucked.
